New York State Of Mind

Hey everyone, I am finally back and settled in to my regular lifestyle. It feels so amazing being back at home and back to my daily schedule. My trip was a blast and I’ve made so many memories the past two weeks. I can’t wait to show you all the pictures from each place I visited. It sure does feel like home, coming back to the rainy weather.

My first stop from my trip was New York City. My family and I landed in New Jersey where we stayed at the Marriott hotel, which was about 40 minutes away from downtown New York. We had the chance to have a full day New York City tour which was so worth it because we got to see many places including Central Park, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, the 9/11 Memorial and way more.

One day is definitely not enough at all in NYC. You need at least a week to enjoy this past-faced city. I had the chance to try a New York pizza, yes it was as big as my face, however, I missed out on many other things. When I go back… sometime in the future… I will go back and visit the Museums, try a NYC hot dog off the streets and actually go shopping in Saks Fifth Avenue. One of my favourite experiences was taking the New York subway. It’s insane how one subway can take you all around the city. That is something everyone who goes to NYC should experience.

Pictures from my New York adventure are posted below. I will be writing a blog post for each island I visited with pictures as well. Stay tuned!
