Happy New Year everyone. I hope everyone has begun working on their new year resolutions. Most of you guys are probably back to school such as I am. Back to the daily grind of school, work and gym. Take me back to December…

This blog post is for all you book worms out there. Currently I am under attack by mother nature, all you females must know what I’m talking about here.. and so I am possessed by my bed and Netflix. Then I remembered that I recently went and bought a few good reads to begin. I lately have started reading the Harry Potter series, again, because I am obsessed with Harry Potter and am planning on doing a movie marathon after the books.
One of the Chapters locations near my house is now closing down so they have a 50% off on all books and when I got there, I rushed straight to the fashion/art section and found a couple books for amazingly cheap prices. One of the books was a set of two books, “100 Contemporary Fashion Designers,” that contains information and pictures of a hundred fashion designers listed in alphabetical order. That will be worth flipping through the pages when I feel the need to be inspired when sketching or working on a blog post.
The second book I got is called “Grace: A Memoir,” by the one and only Grace Coddington. For those of you who don’t know, Grace is the co-director of American Vogue. I’m super eager to begin reading on Grace and how she got her foot in the fashion industry.
A couple fiction books that are good reads if you’re ever tired of reading non-fiction are: The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion and Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins and of course the Harry Potter series, because I will always recommend those books to everyone.
So now if you’re ever bored on stuck on a good read, hopefully some of the books above will help keep you company. Enjoy your weekend everyone. Until next time.
