Red is a colour that’s associated with this holiday season and also a pop of colour for my new outfit post. A bright pop of colour makes a huge difference with any outfit.

I started off layering a black turtleneck from H&M over a long button-down dress shirt, also from H&M. For my bottoms I wore pleather leggings from Crush Clothing and styled it with a pair of booties from Urban Outfitters.

The blue button-down dress shirt separates the darkness of this black outfit. However, it was still missing something to make the outfit stand out and not look so boring so I added a red hat with this look.

The red hat makes all the difference. It really adds that extra glam to this entire look. My red hat is also from Crush Clothing. I absolutely love styling big hats. This outfit is super easy to shop for and makes for a comfortable day to night look. (Shop look down below).

And we can’t forget about accessorizing! It’s easy to ruin a good outfit with the wrong accessories so there’s no need to always “go big or go home.” Minimal accessories are usually better when you have a lot going on with your outfit. My hat was the main focus of my look so I went with small accessories including three small rings and two bracelets. My silver bracelet from Crush Clothing says “Carpe Diem” and goes well with any outfit.
