I attended Vancouver Fashion Week’s Fall/Winter 2017 show on Thursday, March 23 and it was a delight watching many brands showcase their ready-to-wear apparel.
My top favourite shows this day were by Christy Law, Stefano Glammattei, and the show closer, Aya Bapani.
Christy Law is the founder and creative director of her fashion house: Célestine Studio. Her fall/winter 2017 brand reveals contemporary looks and a fine use of textile design. The braids on the models were definitely creative and outstanding. This may be forecasting a hair trend for next fall. Below are some of my favourite looks by Christy Law.
Stefano Glammattei began his fashion career at the age of 16 and has been playing with different patterns and designs to create his menswear fashion line. His recent collection, “City F/W” was showcased at VFW, revealing ready-to-wear urban looks.
Aya Bapani is truly a creative designer and I had hearts in my eyes while watching her show. Bapani’s line reminded me of a fairytale. See for yourself down below:
Overall, I had an amazing time at Vancouver Fashion Week. There were many amazing designers involved in this event who are so talented and hardworking. I wish nothing but luck to these designers. Until next fashion week!
