April showers will surely bring May flowers, at least that’s what all of us Vancouverites hope. Sure it rained on the first day of May, but the sunshine is just around the corner and summer is near.
Here’s a look at a few of my April outfits:
A red plaid shirt is an essential piece of clothing to keep in your wardrobe. Let’s face it, the flannel is a keeper! I’ve worn this flannel for both warm and cool weathers and it is definitely a must have.
I styled my flannel from Garage Clothing by knotting it around my waist over my pair of my Aritzia leggings. I wore my H&M graphic tee with my Dynamite leather jacket. This outfit is perfect for a casual date night or a day in the city.
#FLATLAY: This flat lay showcases my distressed denim from Garage and my black sweater from H&M Divided. As I’ve mentioned before, always add decor or random essentials into flat lay pictures to make it look more appealing. I’ve added my Kat Von D contour palette, Kat Von D eyeliner and my skull wallet bought off eBay. This outfit can be kept simple with a pair of white converses or dressed up with coloured booties or heels.
This Spring look is super easy to style. I wore my distressed denim with a fitted long sleeve shirt and styled my outfit with a pair of heels from Urban Outfitters. I love how a pair of shoes can completely change the entire look of an outfit.
Spring pastels should be in your wardrobe this season. I am obsessed with this flat lay. I took an image from Vogue Magazine and included it in my flat lay to showcase my Aritzia bralette. My tank top is from Urban Outfitters and the gold necklace is from H&M. Play around with flat lays by adding in florals and other decor.
Yes, I bought that previous tank in a sky blue colour as well. My black denim is from Garage Clothing and the purse is a vintage find from a thrift store. Back when I was younger I used to love going thrift shopping and would always find cute stuff for less than $10 an item!
Hopefully this month will consist of spring dresses and new sunglasses! To view more posts, follow me on Instagram!
