It startles me that the last month of the summer holidays has approached. Where does the time go? July was an exciting month for me because I had the chance to attend a fashion show hosted by John Casablancas Institute’s Fashion students and ended the month off with a trip to Osoyoos.
I will definitely be posting highlights from my trip and the fashion show soon. Until then, scroll down to see what I wore in July:
Off-the-shoulder styles are a fashion phenomenon. This trend is seen everywhere and I can’t help but want every version of this style!
Beauty Hack: When wearing off-the-shoulder pieces, add a bit of highlighter on your shoulders for a perfect summer glow! I use the MicroSmooth Baked Luminizer Highlighter from the Sephora Collection.
Florals are Groundbreaking
It’s true, florals are groundbreaking for summer. There’s no escaping the fact that everyone has at least some type of floral clothing item in their closet. It’s a given to rock this trend during the warm season!
You can’t expect the sun to be shining bright everyday, unless you live in California. On those cloudy yet humid summer days, try these minimalistic looks:
My summer beach waves are styled using the Bombay Hair Wand.
Since I’m working in Gastown, Vancouver, a lot of my pictures have been taken in that area. There are tons of interesting walls that make the perfect backdrop for outfit pictures.
This look is super cute for a date night or a day in the city. Pleated skirts are a must-have for summer! My entire outfit is from Forever 21.
Big curls, don’t care!
