If you’ve been to Osoyoos during summer then you can understand how taking sunscreen is a no brainer. With 40 degrees humid weather and no breeze, Osoyoos was still worth escaping too.
The Stay
I stayed at the Shiraz Villa which was absolutely beautiful and open. The room was one bedroom and had a large bathroom with a luxury tub. The view from the backyard was breathtaking, and each room had it’s own private backyard.
Waking up to complimentary breakfast was also delightful, especially when you get to eat outdoors with this view:
I would highly reccommend staying at the Shiraz Villa if you’re planning on going to Osoyoos.
Lookbook
Be prepared to pack light fabric clothes since the weather is usually somewhere between 30 to 43 degrees! And don’t forget to bring along the essentials: sunscreen, sunglasses and hats.

I took my Mint Curling Iron with me and it was a life-savour. I curled my hair the first day and by the second day I had the perfect beach waves in my hair. Check out my blog post on why I choose to use the Mint Curling Iron over other hair products.

Things To Do
Osoyoos is a getaway destination to relax and enjoy the beach life. You can rent boats and kayaks to take into the water and enjoy for a decent price.
Gyro Beach:
Osoyoos Lake:
Rattlesnake Canyon:
Rattlesnake Canyon is a small amusement park in Osoyoos which has rides, an arcade, mini-golf, food and more. This place was enjoyable, but make sure to go during the evening to avoid the scorching heat.
Local Farms:
Don’t forget to check out the local farms in Osoyoos! There are a ton near Osoyoos as well, where I made a pit-stop to pick up local grown cherries, which were delicious!
I had a fun time in Osoyoos and would definitely go back to stay at the Shiraz Villa and lay at Osoyoos lake with a Palm Bay in hand!
