The last month of the summer holidays is in full effect and if you’re still sitting at home bored, then here’s a list of fun local things for you to check out. From waterslides to amusement rides, there a tons of activities for you to enjoy before fall begins.

RICHMOND NIGHT MARKET

If you’re a major foodie then you’ve got to check out the Richmond Night Market this summer. The market is open till late from Friday to Sunday each week and offers entertainment, great food, games, rides and more.

TD VANCOUVER CHINATOWN FESTIVAL

The TD Vancouver Chinatown Festival will be hosting an incredible summer celebration in town. Join the festival to shop the day market and participate in activities. The festival will be hosted on August 12 and 13 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

STANLEY PARK CINEMA

Every Tuesday till August 22, Stanley Park will be showcasing movies outdoors on Second Beach for you to come enjoy for free with your family and friends. From Beauty and the Beast to Harry Potter movies, get cozy and plan a picnic to enjoy a movie night by the beach!

DINER EN BLANC

PNE

The fair at the PNE will be opening on August 14 and will be featuring special Canada 150 entertainment, rides and food. Buy tickets to attend the fair and enjoy summer night concerts.
